  • "official transcripts for all years of study should be sent directly to IQAS by your school or the responsible issuing authority. If your school will not send transcripts directly, you may forward a sealed envelope with the official transcripts you obtained from your school. The transcripts must be attested, dated, and placed in a sealed envelope that is stamped with the institution’s official seal across the back flap"

Is anyone trying the option given by the University to send the courier ourselves from the University premises?

I wrote a mail to IQAS team and got a response

Do transcripts/mark sheets have to be sent directly by the school to IQAS?
Yes. IQAS needs to verify that your credentials are authentic so your school must send your transcripts directly to IQAS in a sealed envelope. Use the Request of Academic Records form on our website to ask your school to send your transcripts. In cases where the issuing institution cannot send transcripts directly to IQAS, they may provide you with a sealed envelope with your attested transcripts enclosed which may be couriered by you to our office. The envelope must remain sealed, and has to be stamped with the institution's official seal across the back flap.

We hope this information is helpful. Please review the IQAS website to find up-to-date information and further answers to your questions.

With this response i guess can go ahead with the application procedure as there is a mail correspondence from IQAS.

Hi All,

Since WES has changed it policy to get transcripts sent through Universities directly, how to send the final degree certificates to them? Do we need to courier it separately? Does that mean, bachelor degree certificate needs to be sent by 1 University, Masters by another and both the degree certificates by me?

Please help.

Yes I have a Bachelors Certificate from Mumbai University.. went to kalina .. the employees are rude and they don’t even want to read the WES transcript request form.. just that we fork up 4 k and that we come and collect it after 1 month and that they don’t do courriers anywhere . WES won’t accept documents we send so what exactly are we supposed to do?
WES needs to inform them atleast would make it a whole lot easier
