Hi guys,

ASKING FOR A FRIEND

"I have a few questions about WES. I'm applying for a course by course package for WES evaluation. I have been asked by my college to get it done as this will give me credits and then college will waive off my fees. I am doing a Marketing related diploma.
I am a Bachelors in Accounts and Finance graduate from a college recognized by Mumbai University. I also have a full-time MBA degree in Marketing from a college recognized by Mumbai University. I have all my results from my Bachelors and Masters course. I also have my transcripts for MBA course.

My query is:

1. Do I have to get my bachelors transcripts as well if my highest degree is Masters? (Given the situation does my Bachelors in Finance course transcripts be required? )
2. I am also planning on starting my PR process by the time I graduate I want to get into the pool hence, will I have to get WES done again after the course gets over or the result from this application will be valid while sending documents for Express Entry?

I would be grateful if any one can answer the above questions for me."

Thank you.

Can anyone please help?

It's kind of urgent any one has any idea about this?

you have to get both the bachelors and masters degree evaluated if done outside canada. If yo have a course done in canada no need for evaluation

1) You need to send your bachelor transcripts too. Check the document requirements for WES by giving the country as India. they clearly mention that Masters transcripts need to be accompanied by Bachelors.
2) For Canada, you need ECA evaluation. I am not sure the what evaluation (course by course) you are currently doing. If you are doing a different evaluation, you need to do ECA evaluation again for applying PR. Check with WES and see if both can be done for one fee or little higher fee.

WES fee is same whether you are getting evaluation of only Bachelor's or only Master's or both...

So, get the evaluation of both.

Hi Course by Course ---- it is something you need to submit to ur college in Canada to get it waived off for example : As ur a marking student you would have taken course in Indian on Marketing , Finance as second option so u will do course by course for just 2 subject marketing and finance . Once u submit the WES report in Canadian college u does not need to attended the class and u doesn't need to pay for the particular course. Just need to do for Master no need of Bachelors.

U cant use the same course by course for PR as it is different, it a evaluation of bachlores and master to the Canadian degree, here it is advisable to do both bachelors and masters as u will get addition points

This is the only point I was going to add, if you send the degrees and transcripts for both master's and bachelors together as one pack they charge you one fee only. So it's worth going an extra mile obtaining your transcripts and including them in your pack (I am assuming the university sends the transcript on your behalf and you send copies of your degrees directly to them, PLEASE CHECK)

Hi,
Thank you for the information. From what I understand of your message is that it is OK to submit masters transcripts without bachelors transcripts because I am submitting every semester certificate which has the university name on it.
Right?

Thank you everyone. Final take from all the answers I take is that bachelors transcript should be given and that for PR the WES evaluation will be different.

Can I take in my Husband Degree into Wes to get evaluated? We are having a hard time getting in touch with the university in Cuba to send new copies.

Right?

Yes just masters shld be fine

I am not sure how people are saying just Masters transcripts is sufficient considering the fact that OP wants to know about Indian university w.r.t WES. In WES website, they clearly mention that Bachelors transcript is required if someone has Master degree from India as special requirement.

For all applicants submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip earned on top of a three year Bachelor’s Degree (12+3+2) for evaluation, WES
requires that you provide your Bachelor’s degree documents, otherwise WES cannot complete the evaluation.
