Hi,
I hold Bachelor of Engineering degree. I have University issued Original Degree Certificate and 4 Marksheets showing the subjects/papers taken, marks earned, year of study and my University student identification number. I am planning to get my education evaluated by WES. Their website says the following documents are required -
  1. Degree Certificate (Final or Provisional) --> This is a clear, legible photocopy of the final or provisional degree certificate.
  2. Statement of Marks (University Issued and Attested) --> This is an official document issued by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations (e.g. university or autonomous college). It lists all subjects/papers taken and marks earned for each year of study and must include your university student identification number. College-issued mark sheets/result cards are not accepted unless from an autonomous college. To check if your college has autonomous status click here.
I have question about point# 2. Nowhere does it mention about the word "Transcript", which I believe is an addition document issued by the University (on request) on their letterhead with stamp & seal. Do I really need the Transcript document in addition to the aforementioned documents?

I am currently in Canada. I am planning to get color photocopies of Degree & 4 year mark sheets attested by University Registrar, have them put in a sealed envelope and have the sealed envelope sent over to me by my friend. Was then planning to send the sealed envelope to WES via express courier. Do you recommend this approach or should I hire some professional services and have them send over the sealed envelope/soft copies to WES?

I would appreciate if someone can provide their inputs.

Thank you!
