WES ECA rule Change

As per the latest update for getting ECA from WES, they will only accept transcripts that are mailed directly by the institutions themselves and this is valid from 1st Dec. However, I have created my WES account on 11th Nov and mailed my documents on 13th Nov, but due to Canada Post strikes, the transcripts has not reached WES yet. Should this new rule be applicable to me as well?

If you have sent before Dec 1, then they will accept it.

WES have in their FAQ section as below:
  • Ask your institution to send your academic transcripts directly to WES.
  • If your institution will not send them directly to us, you may send them. Be sure to follow the instructions for sending a sealed envelope.
Anyone can visit their site and see under FAQ section
