Dear Members
I am in a limbo.
I submitted application for PR and got AOR in November 2020. However, upon post-AOR reviewing, I am now worried about two things:
1. I chose my marital status as 'legally separated' as I had filed for divorce from my wife, with a local authority. In the eAPR form, they also asked for 'date of divorce' so I wrote the date in which I had filed for divorce, i.e. 7 Sept 2020. Yesterday, I got the divorce certificate. While it correctly mentions 'date of application', it also mentions 'date of effectiveness of divorce' as 8 December 2020. This is because of the fact that, in Pakistan, a divorce is legally effective at least 3 months after filing.
2. I have worked with my current employer since I graduated and have received multiple promotions / postings over the years. As my job responsibilities largely remained same, my employer provided me with one 'work reference letter' and listed all the positions. In eAPR, I mentioned each position separately and attached same letter & pay stubs for all positions listed in eAPR. However, I mistakenly entered ending date of one of the positions and consequently, starting date of the other position. (Position 1 ended on 5-Mar-17, I wrote 4-Mar-17. Position 2 started on 6-Mar-17, I wrote 5-Mar-17.) Reference letter from my employer had made same mistake.
I raised two webforms yesterday to update IRCC and provided them correct information and attached divorce certificate & corrected work reference letter.
QUERY
1. Can my application be rejected on account of my mistakes mentioned above?
Thanks for the help.
