We started processing your application now how much longer???

Hi there; I just checked my application online and it says:
1. We received application for permanent residence on March 28, 2012.
2. We started processing application on September 10, 2013.
3. Interview is September 10, 2013.

During my interview officer told me I have successfully passed eligibility criteria. All payments have been made in advance and there should be no other issues (my wife is Canadian), so does the average processing time (9 months in New Delhi, India Office) mean from when they start 'processing' file, OR does this mean if everything's in order, we should have a decision made very soon...? What should I expect next?

now they will start your backround check it can take 3-6 months , is dependce,
The processing time start from the time New Delhi starty working in your applications, good luck and hope you are not going to wait long

hey congrats seems like u guys have passed the interview that's awesome great news.......I think from 1-3 months u shld get your pp bk with visa......currently ndvo is 11months processing time they have started clearing the backlog and some ppl from 2012 have got decision made or interview dates.....so u shld hear news very soon now........wish u all the very best

Thanks for advise. I hope I will get to see my wife soon. And today I received email from CIC requesting Medical check up again. How much time it takes after Medical.

your medicals must have expired so u have to do re-medicals they processing your file fast now since they have to finish backlog too many applications pending specially from 2012....once the re-medicals go to them in few weeks u can have dm

Hey your star. Thanks for info. My medical check is tomorrow as I took appointment before I received their email and fortunately I received email today morning for the same. Me and my wife tired doing vacation all the time and spending too much money. Hope wait will be over and we can start our family life together

Yeah your right. We visited almost half of dozen countries in last two years and overly priced few times while we were shopping in local market lol... I wish you all the best for your future and family life.
