They were just ghost updates guys if my memory serves me right.
very random process, very random messages. even though my application went through quite briskly the pace of updates was quite irregular.
dont be surprised by the ‘we sent you a message’. If anything that’s usually a good thing since it means the files are being reviewed and moving along the various departments/processes..even if you don’t actually receive a message anywhere.

Last week -Eligibility status has been updated to In progress

we haven't received any email from them, we both checked our email and spam folder but nothing in there.
