Hi

Is there anybody who applied through Warsaw, did medicals this year and is waiting for PPR ?

My application was sent to warsaw as Damascus VO was closed. I asked to send my med on April 2012 and PPT and RPRF On November 2012 and no further new after that!
Did u here about Visa Officer strikes? Delay maybe because of strike.

Hi,

my application is from April 2010 and has been transferred to Warsaw from Damascus and the processing started on March 2012. Can you tell me when you're application was received in Damascus and when they started the process in Warsaw so I can get an estimate of how much longer I have to wait till I get asked for my MR?

P.S. apparently the strikes are over even though they haven't updated their website to say so.

My app. never has been sent to damascus. It was received by their office in Sydney, Canada on Sep 7, 2011 and the proccessing was started on january 19, 2012 in Warsaw. They announced my file number on Dec 8, 2011 and informed me that my app. would be sent to the VO I was mentioned in my forms(Damascus). After that on Dec 30, 2011 I had an email from Warsaw office saying that my app. was there and asking me not to send any documents to Damascus or Sydney, Canada.
It is about 1 year that I sent PPR and they are doing security check.
As u may read this tread ( http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/any-2009-application-transfered-from-damascus-to-warsaw-please-join-here-t90636.0.html;msg2461446#msg2461446 ), they face a workload from Damascus and this is the main reason for delay.
