Aaaaand, still no update for us I guess we shouldn't have made the file so large :/ Kinda worried, no sign of any action neither on ECAS nor myCIC and it looks like people who submitted after us are already getting their BCs/DMs :/ They never got in touch about additional documents or anything at all, really (I assume, since we linked our app to myCIC, that they would've contacted us via email/myCiC message, right?) and even though, theoretically no news is good news, it's looking like they're going to take time with this one :/ We're still waiting for GMCS notes.

I wonder, does Warsaw reply to email inquires about applications that did not exceed processing time? Don't want to piss them off, but it's looking a bit worrisome now that I am seeing others get their DMs so quickly:/ For us, still only 4 lines on ECAS, and eligibility check still in progress according to myCIC.

Warsaw will never reply. Your only hope is your GCMS notes. Order them once a month even if they are late being sent. It has no effect on your application.

Ok, so.... just looked in on myCIC today and it says "We are processing your background check" and then looked in ECAS and there it says... DECISION MADE. !!!! But no 5th line yet, just says DM.... OMG... So now here's hoping it's a positive one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha thanks Sous! I know, I'm a horribly anxious person... haha, right now I'm thinking - maybe I'm just seeing things? Maybe this is a mistake? Phew... ok, so now let's hope that DM on ECAS means myCIC will be updated soon to approved, or ECAS will show approved (cause right now it just says DM and nothing else), and that COPR comes quick!

Question: does anyone know if I can land on Lester Pearson, seen as how I am already in Canada? I mean, basically, can I flagpole on Pearson, or do I have to take a trip to Niagra? I will be flying to the USA from Billy Bishop in Toronto at the end of the month, but I don't know if I can do my landing there, seen as how it's a tiny airport? Haha didn't think I'd have to figure out this so quick

My understanding is that you can land the first time you return to Canada so Pearson would work. Stop looking at ecas and mycic as they may never match. You will get an email soon about your passport

So if COPR comes before I leave for the US then I'll try to land at Billy Bishop on my way back, and if not, then I guess I'd prefer to just take the bus to Lester Pearson and ask if I can flagpole there (if they do that there), i.e. not leave anywhere, but sort of stay at the airport or something... I don't know if I feel like driving to Niagra to do that OMG!!!!!! I don't think you can just go to the airport as you physically need to renter Canada. I meant if you flew and came back
