Hello all. Those who are right now living in Canada, can you please confirm if what I heard from some vehicle manufacturers is correct? I was informed that Canadian warranties on vehicles are different than US warranties. What it means is that in Canada people have to pay from their pocket for service/maintenance. In other words - service/maintenance is at the customer’s cost, unlike programs offered in USA. I am confused with this. Is it really true that if you bought a new car in Canada, and went for its scheduled service - you will need to pay (will not be free)? If the vehicle develops a genuine snag while under warranty - owner pays all the money and then asks for reimbursement? Canadian locals, please confirm.
