don't be misleading students by saying Centennial is bad then .... I'm studying there now (first semester), the experience has been good for me so far.

I don't live in the Scarborough area though, so I can't comment on the living conditions, environment etc .... I stay with family in downtown Toronto :D

OK

@scorpio1641 my wife had applied for GBM in Centennial for 2016. Whats the programme like? What does she have to prepare for?She has an accounting background.

^Hi, so sorry for the late reply. If your wife has a background in accounting, she should be okay with the program. She doesn't need to prepare anything but good study habits and the commitment to finish her program.

I was an honor student back home and the GBM program is enough of a challenge for me, but I'm still maintaining good grades (for now). What I see common among my classmates is that many take the program for granted and do not turn in work or even attend classes (!) since they're only here to get PR. But if you have such a lazy attitude, you will fail. And that won't don't her good.

Also she has to adjust quickly to Canadian culture and way of life, there can be quite a bit of culture shock :)

Thank you so much for your wise counsel. She will take to it. She's been a diligent student with good grades all the while. Wish you both could get in touch and keep the communication lines open. Kamusta! (I guess this must be a way of greeting).

You should definitely choose a university as you have already finished your bachelors. Colleges don't have the same standard of education and career prospects.
