have u ever seen any old people in humber??? never...

Hello!? I think I qualify as an older student at Humber. I'm near 50 and I am the oldest in my class. I am older than most of my teachers. But I have met students who are older than I. There were plenty my age and older at the mature student mixer.

Also, recent research has shown that mature students or those returning at an older age are more likely to succeed than younger students as they are more focused and determined.

This stupid **do not go to centennial wars are not ending....**

The people who ll develop skills will make it through...!! Simple....

Dude, GBC hires most of students for their jobs... its around 200+ because they do not hire students to clean or cook only, they hire students to do networking, programming, mentoring.. GEt your facts right

There are two employer in Centennial
1. CCSAI [student association]
2. Centennial college.
And they hire for all such position.

Do you even understand the meaning of hiring 200+ students ?
It's a college, not a warehouse.
GBC just opened new/big campus few years back.
KING street Campus smell so bad and very very very small to employ 200 + on-campus student.

Do the student teach too ? :P

i will be staying at centennial now, after finishing my 1st semester, i will choose if to stay or not. :)

I am in centennial and Scarborough is not safe at all.

Hey jils..can u plz share your exp of this college??

People in scarborough will defend their town but in reality it is not safe at all because of lot of gang violence and on the other hand its is boring as there is no night life or anything else to do.

About Which campus people are talking? I want to know about Progress Campus? Is it worth going?

College is fine just don't live in Scarborough.

But whats the reason? Is it hard to find no part time jobs in scarborough?

Yes it's kinda hard to find a job in Scarborough but you may find a job in downtown.I suggest you to move in east York.

Its not that centennial is bad, its Scarborough area. If you have no other option, then find accommodation in some other area.

Scarborough is a ghetto! as simple as that.

Hi,

Im planning to go in for Post Grad in Health Informatics at Centennial.I'm from Computer Science Engineering background. Please advise.

i have lived in scarborough for 1 year+, its safe, just dont act stupid. not being racist, just saying what i have seen, too many blacks, muslims and south indians. not racist okay.

finding jobs in scarborough, i can say is hard (depends on your luck and connections), u have better chances finding job in downtown.

yes, there is no night life in scarborough, go to downtown.
