Want to know the age of a child before starting school

Fellow forum members. I want to know the age a child will be before she can start school in Canada. I will soon move to Winnipeg and I have a child who is 1yr 6months old coming with us.

In ontario kids start school when they are 4 years old. Junior Kindergarten.
