@Shani143 please refrain from recreating multiple threads with the same question. You might lose sight of the answer as you created a lot of posts. My suggestion is you call VFS and ask them what is the process when you lodge a paper application in Pakistan. If you get the answer do share as well so all applying in Pakistan will be enlightened.
This is based on what I see in the forums, I'm not sure if true. The Canadian Embassy is located on Islamabad. It looks like all paper applications coming from VFS Lahore and VFS Karachi will be sent to VFS Islamabad. The VFS Islamabad submits it to the Canadian Embassy (IRCC). Once IRCC makes a decision, the decision envelope is sent back to VFS Islamabad then to the respective VFS where the applicants lodged their application. This might be the reason why it takes so much time in Pakistan, as the transmittal of documents from VFS to IRCC is not included in the estimated processing days. Processing only starts when the application is received by IRCC.
For other countries is when you apply by paper, the Biometrics and Passport are submitted the same time. Not sure for Pakistan.
