We (me & my wife) applied for PR back in 2013 from our home country. The file is now at SGVO and it is showing in process since Dec 2013. No update or no medical request yet. In the meantime, by the grace of ALLAH, I got a scholarship & applied for my study permit alone in Sep 2014. Alhamdulillah got the visa & has started M.Sc in Jan 2015. Now I want to bring my wife in Canada. I have learned that it's better to apply for TRV with a duration of 2-3 months by showing leave from job/university & showing country tie etc. However I want to bring my wife as long as I will be here at Canada.
1. Is there anyone who applied TRV for more than 1 year for his/her spouse & got the visa?
2. Will it be a wise idea to apply for her TRV for the duration of my whole study period i mean about 1.5 year (I have just finished my first semester)?
3. How about the OWP? Is there any recent success from Singapore visa office?
