Want to apply for my baby

Greetings!

We are family of three and already have Canadian PR card. I am on assignment in USA from Indian employer.
We are expecting our second baby in June 2017 and will born in USA.

My questions:
1. What is the process to apply for PR?
2. We are born in India and I applied via an Indian agent for PR. Can I apply on my own for new family member instead of going thru agent?
3. Having birth place as USA would have any effect on PR process?

1. As PRs, you cannot sponsor the child from outside Canada. The sponsoring parent must be residing in Canada throughout the sponsorship process. Start here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp.

2. You can apply yourself.

3. Not really. The app will be processed through Ottawa, which is a fast office.
