WAITING TIME AFTER INTERVIEW?

I am just looking for some feedback and hopefully a time frame idea. Our son in law has his interview in Mexico City next week, and was wondering how soon after the visa could be issued.Is there any chance that they could get it issued there within a short time frame (24 hours)once the interview is finished? I am just putting the question out there to see what you others have learned! Thanks!!

I've been reading on this formum that the visa could be issued right away or it could take a few weeks sometimes more...depends of each case.

Any case is different.

the answer from I.N is true, it can take short time or long. It depend about which kind of application, from which embassy or visa office too. Be patient, good luck.

thanks guys! its in Mexico City, and reading on the Mexico topic, I am getting a little stressed about the interview and this one woman at the embassy! I just don't understand how one person can sit and be the judge of what is a real relationship!

Well, immigrate officers are trained to do that, and if your relationship its genuine, (which I am sure it is) that woman officer from Mexico will know for sure. I know you must be very anxious and maybe nervous but you have to trust them, an answer will come up soon.

I am sure that you will get your visa very soon!

Would love to be updated once he has his interview! So happy that his application is moving on quicker than the estimated times. I'm applying through Mexico City in May and would love to hear about his experience/timeline.

do you mean to say you are still waiting to hear whether or not they approved and are giving you a visa....or are you just waiting to get your visa.......

I'm sorry to write this but in all the time I've been reading the forum I haven't read of a single case where the visa was issued 24 hrs. after the interview, Bcmom...
How's your daughter's health if I may ask (I read the Mexico thread with your case)?

Maybe no one had the visa the day when interview took place, but we will!
We must!
I've been waitng for a year now for this visa when the average time for my VO is 7 months...
I guess they should consider the delays as well.
Is not a day to waste when they don't really have doubs...

We arent from Mexico, but my husband received his visa the day of his interview. Well, technically the next day but only because he was unable to get back to the embassy to pick it up the same day.

seems like you have lots of patience in you that you are so calm ... VO 7 months and its been an year for you.. wow..awesome
I know this immigration stuff really teaches a person lots of patience.
but few are just lucky by nature that they dont have to wait much.
just like. jan,feb,march applicants. they had to wait a lot to hear about their AOR and approvals and lucky are april,may applicants.. getting approvals so fast. 8)

Believe me Simb I am running our of patience.
I think now it's becouse I am now on the last 100 m left as we speack...
I can't wait for all this process to end and its going to end for me on 23 July!! 8)

I will do share my experiece with my VO and the interview for sure.

I am very anxious for all this process to get to an end!
