Waiting from 13 months after successful medicals

Hi,

I have applied my PR application in May 2010 to buffalo office. In Sep 2012 I got medical request and in Sep mid the status of my file changed to "Medical Results have been received ".

Since then its 14 months now the status is not changed.

I have tried to contact the CIC serveral times and I always get reply that Backgroud check is in process.

Can any one help me in this regard,,,, I dnt think this much long time is normal.

I have waited 18 months for my B/G check to be done. Then they contacted me saying visa is ready
