Waiting for US visitor Visa since January 2013

Hi guy
i applied for US visitor visa from Ottawa and the consular told me that your visa may take 1 month or 6 months or even more
and now it took 7 months and the last message from US embassy said we are sorry your visa under administration process and we are waiting to get permission to issue your visa

i am student in Canada with student visa and i want to visit my brother in USA
I am so upset for that
is there any body has similar experience with administration process

Perhaps you should try posting at on a US based forum, because you are asking about US visas not Canadian visas.

I am in same boat. I applied for US visa in january 2013 and got the same answer as you.
Did u hear anything from them in near past?
