Family of three become PR on second July
Applied for PR card on July 5th 2022.
The main applicant received PR card in two weeks. And jo dependent card was received
- on Sep 28 gave them a call to know that they send the dependents cards to our old address (boom that was hard hit). The agent confirmed to me they associated our new address to the application which we will find in Katerina call that the application still associated to the old address.
- asked me to fill a form and fax it or mail it. Spent three days trying to fax it coz the fax line is busy. I also sent the for my registered mail and was relieved.
- gave the a call today to find out that the old address still associated to the application. And that they are dealing with the form received in Jun 2022. So we will wait for our turn maybe in Jan or Feb 2023.
What can I do from my did? And what you can do?
- I will keep giving call every Friday (good thing is that waiting time usually 7 min)
- I will re pay canada post for mail forwarding service for 12 month in case they send it again to the wrong address.
What can you do? Call them to make sure your address is fine.
