Hi everyone!
AOR Oct 15
FSW out.
Still waiting for the PPR.

I am being asked in job application forms to indicate if I am eligible to work in Canada. Should I answer yes? Because technically I am not at the moment, but I should have PPR within a month. This also means that I will not need sponsorship from the employer.
I searched on these forums but couldn’t find an answer.

The answer is no. You are not eligible to work in Canada at this time.

Recommend you be honest with employers and not burn bridges. You can certainly say that you have applied for PR and are expecting the process to be complete in a few months.

You may have PPR in a week or you may be waiting several more months. This isn't within your control.
