It's normal for the security process to be several months long for applicants from certain countries. I'm from Pakistan, and for applications that i have followed, the wait time for the security check can be 4-6 months.

In general for India, it doesnt seems to take long, one of the applicant got his PPR within 5 days from RPRF......
