Waiting for PPR after Medicals - Add your case here

Ahhh! Congratulations! I am so happy for you... also, I am getting quite upset over my application taking so damn long! They received my app in February 2012! My medicals were received June 27, 2013 - so, taking your timeline into consideration (medicals received to PPR), I am hopeful that I receive mine within the coming 3-4 weeks!

Have you applied for GCMS? I applied for GCMS twice so far. I applied for the first time a month before I received MR. Received the MR and GCMS notes on the same day. Second time I applied for GCMS 2 weeks back and today I received the PPR. I guess, applying for GCMS might make some difference and bring some luck

This has been true so far in my case atleast..I applied for GCMS notes and received MR in 4 days just after I applied. I completed my medicals and expecting gcms notes next week. I will apply for GCMS notes again next week once I receive the first one.

When I did my medicals on 10th April, I had high BP (143/95). So they asked me to do a ECG & Heart ECO test. I got an appointment for ECG on 17th April & and appointment for ECO on 17th May. And 3rd June was the day I got an appointment to get the reports in my hand.

I think the current average timeline is 1.5-2 months once you complete your medicals. You can send an email to CIC attaching your medical receipt and you might receive a confirmation within 3-4 days. I and Couple of other forum members did the same and we receive the confirmation.

What is your NOC code and did you apply single or with family.?

I appreciate the advice! Could you please tell me exactly how to apply for the GCMS notes? I have a listed immigration representative. Is it possible for me to do the application or will I have to ask my rep to request the notes?

Not only have I been waiting for PPR for 2.5 months now after MER, they can't even give me my GCMS notes within the stated 30 days. It's been 38 days since I requested GCMS online. I sent them an email asking about the status of the request and they are saying the file is being finalized...

It has been exactly 2 months since I did my Medicals too. I applied for GCMS notes on July 13th, so tomorrow will be exactly 30 days. Lets see if they provide me with my GCMS notes or not....

I am also on the same boat. My ECAS updated as DECISION MADE ( Med done, sent, updated, RCMP requested, sent, updated on file) on Jun 07, 2013 and from then there is no communication from CIC.

I have ordered my GCMS notes on July 05, 2013 and supposed to receive them on Aug 5/6, 2013. I haven't received them yet. When I sent them a mail to ATIP (GCMS notes) on Aug 8, they responded that it is being finalized and will be sent shortly. 4 days over and still waiting with a hope.

Are we under privileged?
