waiting for police clearance from Germany Please Help! URGENT

Hi All,

I have applied for PR in late 2014 and got a German police certificate then. My application along with many others for returned. I am applying again now and a lawyer screwed me by telling me that I can used the one I had from 2014. I found out I can not use it when I had two months to apply for my Federal PR. I have requested another one about 4 weeks ago and I am still waiting for it to come. Since post is very slow, I am worried I would not get it before my deadline comes. I am also worried extra since my visa is about to expire. I need to apply as soon as possible. Can I still apply with the old one and explain in my letter that I am waiting for the new one to arrive? Please help!!!

Mine too only one week to arrive from Germany. Did you send your application through courier service?

They send the character certificate through normal post but it arrives at my home within a week.

No idea if you can use older one or not

Thanks. Can I ask where do you live? I think that matters also. So i should be expecting it anytime this week hopefully.
