download the application package fill it up, pay your fees online, send everything to Vegreville. I will recomment send it on mail not on line application because is taking longer to process and you will remain legal in Canada until you get the ppr.

i have also sent my medicals almost 5months ago but still no reply. so i would suggest you to be calm and cool cuz its gonna be long waiting, i am currently in Pakistan. i don't know where you are right now ? cuz different time frames for different countries.

By February he received a refund of his WP extension fee from Vegreville.

did your husband requested refund from Vegreville? what's the procedure you guys followed for refund to be successful? My WP also expires in about 9 weeks. Also, did your man applied online or by mail for WP?
I need to ask for LMO to my employer asap, then I'll send WP application before current my Grad-WP expires. But I have a feeling I might get shiny visa few days before status ends. what is best wait & see when i get lmo or apply right away for WP?

He did not request for the refund, a week after he landed as immigrant he got a letter from Vegreville that says he no longer needs to apply for WP extension since he is already a PR based on their records, it also said on the letter that a check will arrive after 2 weeks that will serve as a refund of his WP extension fee. He paid the $150 fee through credit card online but he mailed his WP extension application to Vegreville.

I'm not that knowledgeable about WP but I think there's a rule now that an approved and valid LMO has to be attached to the WP application, not sure if that applies to you or not. IMO, it's better to submit the application for WP at least a month before your existing permit expires, that way you're always covered by implied status. Hopefully, you'll get the PR visa before Vegrevillr starts processing your WP. Fees will be refunded anyway... Best of luck!

you've been waiting for your PPR for soooo long! i think its about time for you to let the embassy know of your case... you may email or call them...
