Hello! I just finished my medical examinations required by the immigration and I found out that I have elevated creatinine level. My result came out 86.7

Test	Result	Unit	Normal Value
Serum Creatinine	86.7	HmOl/L	45 - 84

but the normal value should be not greater than 84. But the clinic didn’t ask me for additional tests. This is the email they sent to me “Dear applicants
We hope this message finds you well.
We are writing to inform you about the results of your recent creatinine test.
We are sending the copy of your result for your reference which you may use if you decide to consult a Nephrologist or your attending doctor.
No additional requirements or documents are needed from your end at present.
Kindly wait for any feedback from the embassy.”
My question is, the immigration require me to go see a nephrologist? Will it also affect our spousal sponsorship application? Thank you for your response.

The result is just out of range. It is something you should personally keep track of with your own physician especially if you’re relatively young since this could be the early signs of kidney disease. The test is not perfect and can be compromised by a bunch of things. Agree that you are unlikely to be asked to do further testing like seeing a nephrologist and spousal sponsorship is exempt from the excessive medical cost requirement.
