A LITTLE PRAYER FOR US WAITING VISA

A PRAYER FOR PATIENCE

Dear Heavenly Father,
Praise be given to Your Holy name for Your forbearance and mercy. You have dealt gently with Your children in love. You have been patient with me in my humanness and stubbornness.
Lord, through the work of Your Spirit, prompt me to be more jubilant in hope, more patient in times of trouble, and more consistent in my prayer life. Teach me, Lord, to wait with faith and expectancy, and may my trials be seen as times for growth in grace. Through Christ our Lord, I pray. Amen.

Hello Guys, I see a lot of discussion here about waiting time after the medicals were done and waiting for PPR. I received a letter dated Oct/20th in my mail in oct/29th. It says "We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.
Now, this letter has 6 sections but I am interested only in 2: Right of Permanent Residence fee (RPRF) - I have not paid that fee for my wife nor myself. So that section explains about the fee and also says if you have not already paid RPRF, you should do so at this time. Question I have to you guys is: Do I pay it now or wait to see if I get transferred but I may not get transferred, so what's the best action I should be taking here, call them? I don't think they will answer. Inquier by email, I don't think they will respond either, I am stuck there.

2. It says additional documents required: It is checked "No additional documents are required at this time.
Does this means medicals are okay?, I sent my police clearance from my home country when I submitted the application in Mar/3rd this year and I have not left the Canada since I came in 2008. I don't think they may be requesting any additional documents. I have sent documents several times for my working permit applications before along with family documentation as well.
Question is Am I correct? or you guys think there may be something the will request.?

In my opinion and from what I've read in this forum, not all files are transferred to other visa offices, so waiting for a transfer before paying your RPRF may or may not cause delays.
I suggest you pay the RPRF now since the letter says you should do so already. What is your visa office anyway?

Thanks rubyalabar, I was thinking the same. my visa office is Buffalo.

forgot to mention, I've been here in Canada for almost 3 years already.

you're the same situation as my husband. he's on a work permit since 2008 and got nominated earlier this year, our file was transferred to LA 2 weeks ago. what is your timeline by the way? and which province?

hello rubyalabar! ask ko lang if na nirequest na yung mga passport, humingi pa ba sila ng latest pictures? like us nasa pinas kmi and yung mga passport namin nsa husband ko na sa canada just to make sure pag nirequest nasa knya na kaagad kc matagal pa pag imemail pa. thanks

hindi pa nirequest passport namin, still in process pero 2 weeks ago it was transferred sa LA consulate. yup, passports din namin nasa husband ko na since september yata :D fedex namin, na-hold pa nga sa customs inabot ng 12 days bago nadeliver sa husband ko.

pero i asked about it, need ng 3 pictures na 35mmx45mm na not more than 6 months old kaya last monday nagsend ako ng bagong pictures na for canadian visa, white backgroundd. yung pictures kasi namin na pinadala ko sa canada e february pa.
