Hi Everyone!

Im already worried about our Passport request. Its been more than 3 months now from the time we did our medical exam but we havent received anything yet from the embassy. Online status says that its still IN PROCESS. Do you have any idea whats causing the delay of our letter? Need help on this! Thanks!

Hi Alimosen,

I think it still normal or you're still within the processing timeline. I've been waiting for 5 months now since medical but up to know I'm still in the waiting mode. Maybe it depends on how complicated your application was but you'll never know maybe you or some of us here will be the next to receive the PPR. When did the embassy received your med result?

While waiting let's enjoy what we have in here because when we get there I'm sure you'll gonna miss Philippines and the people around.

In the AOR,my application was received on 6/18/2010 and it was stated therein that it would require 8 months on the average to process my application on the category that i have applied to. I am under the MPNP, family stream.... However, i already disclosed that we are expecting a baby at that time and that i am aware of the necessary updating of records after giving birth... as promised, i submitted the necessary documents to support my application and paid the applicable fee for my additional dependent... thus, my baby had his medical exam on May... i do hope that everything is in order.

for the time being, i guess faxing a letter is not a good idea right? i guess i have to keep my "sanity" intact and just wait for the PPR from CEM? i already composed my follow up letter actually but i just can't send it... whew!

Just give it a week or two if you can still wait but if there’s no response yet from the embassy , I guess it’s not bad to make a follow up just make sure that you use the right wordings and intonation in making a follow up. You can start your letter when is the processing due of your application will lapse and then what happen next and so on and so forth…

Just called the clinic and she said that they sent our medical result to embassy last april 6. can you please help me know how long will it take for us to receive our PPR?

yes it's true that it's really hard to wait but there's nothing we can do, we have to give more patience while waiting.

My application is PNP under general stream. I believe that family stream applications is faster than the general stream category.
