Our Application is also under the General Stream Program ... We had our medical last March 3, 2010 and we verified it at Nationwide that it was received by CEM on March 17, 2010... up to now we are still waiting for the PPR

Hi Ellamarce,

We're on the same stream PNP under general category. We have our medical on Jan 28 and was sent to embassy on Feb 04, 2010. I assume that for this category the processing is lenghty compared to Family stream. Maybe they are still checking for all the possibilities if you could live in Canada with regards to the POF that you have, your skills, education, experiences etc. that will help and boost more the economy of canada. When is the due of your application processing period? Mine will end this Aug 8, 2010 and I will do the follow up thereafter.

No problem, I'll keep you posted. We can never really tell how do they do the detailed processing of application but given that you have enough of everything, I still believe that some are very lucky with a very quick processing of application and also there are the not so lucky one like me that really waited too long but I guess there's a good reason behind that he do it this way. Maybe a perfect timing, bonding with your friends and relatives, do some unfinished task at work and family and many other things that we unforsee.

I am so happy that some of us got their PPR every week even 1 or 2. The list was trimmed down and they are very excited with the next step which is waiting for Passport with visa. Just hang on maybe tomorrow or the next day will be your lucky day.

congrats! at last dumating narin ppr mo.family ba kayo or single ka. it took more than 3mos after your medical sent to cem before your ppr came.alam mo CSP din ung initial ng sa amin katulad ng sa iyo and our medicals forwarded last mar 31 at sana susunod narin ang ppr namin.when are you going to send your pp to cem?

we are under family stream and like you we are also waiting for our ppr.we took our medical at timbols clinic and according to them they forwarded them to cem on mar 31,up to now wala parin ppr namin.sana dumating na kasi nakaka stress din pala ang pag hihintay.patience lang talaga ang key para hindi mainip.

Hi Sammy09,

Any info from the embassy when are you going to make a follow up? 9/18/10 is too near hope the embassy will see your application and expedite the processing of your application. Maybe what you can do at the moment is try to look for cheap flights, sort the things that you're going to bring, give or sell, and anything that is of nothing to spend. Just do the shopping when you have the visa already. Maximize your time , you'll gonna do a lot of things when your visa is ready and what matter most is the expiration.
