Hi MTFSMILES,

Congratulations! I am very very happy for you, finally you got yours. They are still within the processing time of your application and they almost reach the processing due of your applicaton which is 30th of June. Same with you, I have to wait until the processing period for my application expires ( that is 1 month and 1 week more from now - Aug 8, 2010 ). Thanks also for sharing what to expect in Canada, and it's a good thing that we know what are the things to prepare for.

Hi Raffy888,

Congratulations! finally everything is complete.

Hi Sandar,

Is there any processing time due with your application when you received a letter or email from the embassy? I'm also a PNP applicant but until now I'm still waiting because the processing due for my application is still not over which is Aug 8.

Hi Steven2091965,

I sent them my medicals, which was around Cristmas 2009,and I got a letter in the January that they transfered my case to NY and that I have 60 days to provide edditional info. They said that they will make a decision within 90 day (means in april) wether I submitt the extra document or not.I mailed them what they asked for. It has been more then 5 monthes now and still no chage since January status. Is it still withing a time line?
By the way I e-mailed them more then a month ago and did not get a reply. What to do now?

Hi Sandar,

Maybe after that 90 days period, all the documents you submitted to them is enough that's why they did not request for any additional docs. If the processing period is not specified in the letter given to you. We can assume the 8 month period starts when you received your medical notice ( date reflected in the letter ). If for example you received the medical notice last dec 2009, we can assume that the 8 month processing period of your application is until august 2010. Usually the embassy do not reply to email if your application is within their normal processing period. It's only my opinion, maybe some of the members can share their experiences too. I think it's on a case to case basis also depending on how complicated your application was, some are so lucky that they got their request for passport very soon and some are not so lucky that they waited too long for PPR just like us.

Hi Ellamarce,

I'll include you in the list if you don't mind. It is really stressful to wait but there's no other choice but to hold on and give yourself a lot of patience. Some of us have done with their medical on Feb 2010, Dec 2009 and even May of 2009 but until now there's no update yet. Let's just keep on praying and still be thankful that we're already at this stage of the processing period.

Foxrolly,

Actually, its my agency who took care of everything. As far as i know, you can pay both (Credit card or Cash)...But here in Canada they always prefer the credit card type of payment....anong hotel mo at saan lugar? ok yun ha mas mataas ang overtime pay...siguro busy place yang lugar mo noh?

hi steven,

thank you, ur correct exact date when got the email kaya yung sa iyo its either b4 or exact date na nasa AOR mo...for sure naman na dadating yan talagang it needs bunch of patience and prayers...na send ko na sia sa CEM hoping na it will return to me the soonest possible time kc ang nakalagay dun is 90 days upon receipt of the passport ... but yung mga co worker ko na nauna sa akin 1 month or less than 2 months lang natanggap na nila ang passport with shining immigrant visa stikcer...

congrats raffy888 and mftsmiles... :)
