Hi All,

I had applied for TWP for myself and TRV for my wife and daughter on 07 November 2011.
Due to some misunderstanding, my visa was rejected by the CHC New Delhi on 14 November 2011.
I had applied via VFS.
My attorney from my employer in Canada asked the case to be re-opened.

She mailed me on 21 December 2011, that the case officer has re-openend my case and i will be issued medical forms shortly.
However till date nothing has happened.
Also my attorney sent me a mail on 30 December asking me if i wa done with my medicals.
I replied that i am yet to receive the medical call from CHC.

My Questions:
As my initial application was rejected, will CHC New Delhi send me the Medical Call Letter via VFS or Directly via Mail?

Secondly, my attorney expected my medicals to be done by 30 December 2011.
Is it just a case that my case officer has gone on leave and hence the delay?

Thanks and Regards

Hi Sir,

Thanks for your reply.
I have altready send a email to the Delhi Immigration email ID asking my case status.
No reply till now.
I am expecting that the case officer should have come back by now.

Also since he/she had to re-open the case, i am assuming it will be a delay.

I just wanted to know that if the CHC New Delhi releases the Medical Forms, will it come to me via VFS.
In that case, i could track it using my old application number.
Other wise i just need to wait till i get the medical forms at my doorstep. :(

The Wait is just frustrating.
Anyways i am hoping things clear out by End of this month.

Thanks and Regards

Finally.................Got my Medical Call :).
Got it via Email from CHC New Delhi.

However the Medical Call is only for me.
No information for my wife and daughter.

Since my work permit case was re-opened, do i need ask them to re-open the case for my wife and my family as well?
I was of the opinion that their case would be re-opened by default.

Thanks and Regards

Hi All,

Medicals done for me and my family.
But a minor hiccup. :(
My BP is a marginally High as per the Doctor.
She advised ECG + S Cretanin test additionally.
ECG report was normal.

Also doctor advised to submit the passport 5 days later to VFS.

Is this normal?

Regards
Gaurav

i told you sab accha hoga so don't worry your chances are 100 percent, only case officer aske for medical when they feel that all document are genuine otherwise you should not got the medical request so will get your visa very soon ,timeline in new delhi is 2 month from apply date it is maximum if you don't delay any document and i will suggest you plzz check your mail everday because if you miss any request from the case officer or you will late then forgot about visa ,but in your case there is only 1 percent of chances to request any other document by case officer so you don't worry .i think you will get you visa in maximun 20 days best of luck

Hi Albertian,

Thanks for your encouragement. Badly needed.

There is another issue now.
My Wife's Chest X-Ray showed slight scars.
She has no history of TB.
Double checked with her parents.

I am being told by the Doctor that there will be additional test request by CHC New Delhi.
These tests (Sputum Tests) will take 6-8 weeks to give a report.
Also these tests can be done only in Hyderabad or Chennai in India.

Another 3 months delay. :(

Any Help?

Thanks and Regards

Re: Waiting for Medical, TWP Case re-opened (Medicals done)

Hi All,

Medicals were done for me and my family on 19 Janaury 2012.
As i did not get any response from CHC New Delhi, i submitted by passports to VFS Bangalore on 31 Janaury 2012.
Its already 15 days since passport submission and close to 4 weeks since medicals.

The wait is really frustrating.
Is there anyone who got their TWP in Feb 2012?
When can i expect a decision from CHC New Delhi.

Thanks and Regards
