waiting for landed to Canada

Can anyone give me some positive news??????

I got married 4yrs ago in Canada he was on farm work here....went back to Jamaica and applied for my husband there in 2011...but was denied bcuz a previous Application I had done took wefare without my knowledge so I had to pay back over $10,000 which I did...resent my application...CIC got it on Sept 14,2011 and started processing it on November 18, 2011. Sent a letter on November 22, 2011 which I never got....Jamaica started processing it on February 14,2012.....medical expired and resent in May 2012 and still waiting on some word....during this process I got pregnant and have a baby girl who is now 13mths for my husband who has only seen her @ 3mths for 8wks....I have a little girl who is getting bigger everyday and needs her dad now..but immigration doesn't care...want 2 know if any1 knows how much longer will this process take....the immigration site says 16 mths for a completed Application.....does that mean from step 1 or step 2 or when they forwared it to Jamaica in November???

The 16 months is from the time that kinsgton received your application. It can and does take 16 months sometimes. However, majority of people going thru kingston average an 8 - 10 months wait. There is a thread for kingston on this forum. You can read and post your questions there. I think you'll find it very helpful as the ladies there are very knowlegdeable. Have you checked E-Cas for updates? Have you informed your husband to keep his phone close to him for a call from Kingston? If you provided an E-mail address you should also be checking it religiously - including the junk mail.

Thanks for the reply.......oh ya I try 2 check it every other day.....yes he keeps him phone on him at all times plus check the post office just in case....I do check my junk 2......I will check that forum....thanks for ur info....sometimes I'm just frustrated.......
