waiting for final decision starting

i have submit my all documents on 07/11/2016
got an email for medical on 17/11/2016
after that no response from embassy till date today 09/01/2017
online application status
Application: OPEN
Review of medical results: PASSED
Review of biometric info: NOT NEEDED at this time
final decision: NOT started
what should i do now?
or how much more wait i have to do?

and my clases have been started from today in canada.
is there will be any problem on border when getting study permit on airport? or is it normal to them?

You could defer your admission to next semester if you feel you can not meet up. Contact your department's grad sec

i have already differ twice...once i get late for submitting file and 2nd time i got rejected...
can i differ more than twice?

I am in the same situatn as you..applied online on Dec 1st for Jan 2017 intake..on Dec 27 got medical call..on Dec 30 medical status changed to passed..since then there hav been no updates..next term starts on April 4th as I hav to attend foundatn pgm befre the main course ☹☹☹

even my application is still with embassy. i heard that they do it intentionally to cut down the international applicants coming into canada. we will get a rejection saying that our start date has been passed. my frnd got it already
