Waiting for AOR

Hi there,

I sent my application for a skiled visa to CIC which arrived on 19/4/10, i have still heard nothing.It has been over 9 weeks and credit card has not been charged.

Can anyone advise as to what is the currebt waiting time, is this normal?I understand there is a backlog of applications.

Don't worry too much, times vary a lot. Expect to wait 13 weeks at least.
If you have not heard anything then contact them.

Be patient, you will here.

After credit card is charged how much time does it take for them to respond with letter?My credit card was charged last week but still did not hear anything from them.Credit card charged means positive or negative response?Do they charge the credit card if they plan to deny in the initial stage?My application was received by them on 9th April 2010

Thank you for the reply, if another persons application was received on 9/4/10 and their credit card was only charged last week then i presume i should see the charge shortly.Thnks for the replies

Lots of people who sent there application the same time as me had earlier AOR and lots came later so don't completly rely on what other people are up to.

I had my AOR which was an E-Mail about 10 days after the money was taken from my account.
