Hello everyone! Got the notice yesterday that my husband had to send new photos to CPC Ottawa to receive his COPR after waiting over 20 days from them getting his passport photocopy and the original photos. We sent the new photos the same day and they have been delivered. My question is how long will it take for them to send the COPR after getting the new photos? If anyone has had to do this recently please share your timeline it would help a lot.
Also the email said to reply with the tracking number and I did but I am very worried that they won’t see it and send it back with no COPR. The email stated we only had 7 days to reply. Should I send a web form as well or will just the email reply be okay?
I’m scared the photo resubmission will mean the wait time starts over and I’m due to give birth to our son in 33 days so we can’t afford to wait again. The fact that he might not be here for that because the background of the original photos was not a bright enough white color is crazy. We ended up finding the only place in the US that does Canadian photos is staples even though it says to get them done by a commercial photographer I swear they will 100% be denied.
