Hi, everyone.

Just want to check if anyone can give me some sense how long my wait will be for the passport request.

My timeline roughly is

April - 2004 - Submit application

ist week of March - 2006- medical exam

Late March 2006 - passed interview (LA office) with all documents complete except medical. Also paid right of landing fee.

By the way, the officer said after the interview that he is accepting my application and asked me to pay the right of landing fee, which I did. He said that the next letter I will receive will be the passport request. So my question is: With the exception of the medical exam results, does it mean my application is technically accepted?

Of course, the other question is how long is it going to take for me to get the passport request? My case is being processed in the LA consulate.

I would appreciate your respone. Thanks.

Odd, your timeline says London.

In e-cas does it say "medical results have been received"?

It may take 2-3 months before they ask for your passport. The recent processing changes seem to have slowed things down a bit.
