Wages on Post graduation work permit to qualify under Canadian experience class

Hi, I have a question about wage on post graduation work permit to qualify under CEC. I am working as restaurant assistant manager and my wage is $16.50/hr. Someone told me that according to my profile it should be 19.63/ hr to qualify under canadian experience class, otherwise they reject the application.


I am confused now what to do.

There's no requirement. As long as your pay is reasonable and not below legal minimum wage, you are good.

There's no minimum wage requirement as CF has mentioned. You do not have to meet the median wage requirement because it is only for LMIA applicants.

As long as your wage is not much lower than the minimum, for EE applicants, they barely question that.
