vsitor visa documents requirement

hello friends,

My parents who are in visitor visa in usa is using this online application for canada tourist visa so that they can come n see me before they return back home. Just got stucked with the documents part.
-Is the marriage certificate really necessary? they didnt carry their marriage certificate with them. Can they submit application without marriage certificate?
- Does there need to be 2 separate IMM 5257 application one for my mom and one for my dad?

can anyone please give me some idea. I would very much appreciate it. thanks

No need of marriage certificate.spouse already mentioned in passport.fill form for each person.

Spouse is not mentioned in Passport. I dont see that anywhere. anyone can u please let me know if marriage certificate is needed. I would very much appreciate it.
