Hi,

I the Sponsor, have been staying at home to be with my kids the last year in Sweden. During this time I worked with a hockey organization. Although, they re-imbursed me for any expenses that I had during the time helping out. It was not a paid position, but provided me reimbursements. None of this was an official job nor would show I was making a salary. I have included a 2015 Notice of Assessment for the time I was employed.

This is regarding if I should include this in Sponsors Employment History or not?
I have provided a supporting letter stating I will start a really well paying job with our family business 1 week after we arrive in Canada along with proof of flights to Canada for myself, wife and 2 children.

Yes, you should include it.

Provide a supporting letter from myself stating this?

As you said yourself, it was volunteer and you did not receive any renumeration, so it isn't work and should not be listed in your employment history.

I respectfully disagree. If you weren't working, that form requires you to put "unemployed". Just put volunteer in the field for occupation. No need for a letter, since you are providing one for your current job. You could also put Volunteering/Homemaker or something along those lines.

Either way, it's not a big deal, especially since you already have a job in Canada.

OP was volunteering while unemployed. Employment is when a person recieves renumeration, hence why they ask for the income for each job as well.
