H-1B Canadian Open Work Permit Spousal visa post Sept 24 deadline

I had received a Canadian Open Work Permit under the H-1B holders program that was run in 2023. Due to glitches in the website I wasn't able to apply for a work permit for my spouse at the time. When they opened up the applications for spouses/family in 2024, we weren't able to apply for my spouse then as we had already left the US (rules said you had to be in the US during time of application).

If I do I get a job now in Canada on my Open Work Permit, would it still be possible for my spouse to apply for a dependent visa to bring them along with me to Canada? Or would I need to get a different worker visa sponsored by my future employer?

Follow SOWP guidelines. You need a job offer with eligible NOC. Are you in Canada and have a job offer? When does it expire?

This is a WP issue not a family sponsorship issue
