I have checked the message, it says, "Visitor Visas applied online after Monday, June 20, 2016, are not yet being processed. Processing time is 31 days." which they have already crossed on Aug 1st (if i am considering only working days Mon-Fri. God knows what they are doing. This is even more stressful than my own PR application.

I can understand, we're sailing in the same boat. I took care to ask my parents to apply 60 days in advance and still have no update whatsoever.

About 33 working days, my parents have crossed both the calendar days as well as business days. It is very frustrating, I can't book hotels, neither can I plan any travel itinerary for them. Now, I feel I should have had them apply 6 months before.

I feel really sorry for your, erable_rouge. I can imaging this being frustrating. Did you call CIC and speak with an agent to ask if such a delay was normal? I mean, did they "indeed" receive the application?

No, i haven't called them. My parents are the applicants. Can I call on their behalf?

Umm, I don't know. Maybe, someone else here will be able to answer.

Having said that, the agent on the telephone doesn't need to give personal information; just the status. I mean, CIC surely knows that children often carry out paperwork for their parents. (??)

Can't say for sure. My parents were planning to fly on the 10 Aug'16 and still haven't heard anything. They had applied online on the 10th June'16. It has been so long, I think, I might have to differ their visit.

It is difficult to answer your question since many other online applicants on this forum received an update in about 25 to 45 days. Some cases do get delayed. I wish you get your visas soon.

From my situation, waiting for my parent's visa «despite applying 60 days in advance», I can relate to your daughter's anxiety over this delay.

I think they processed under CAN+ , I have valid USA Visitor Visa.

Yes, You can apply for your parents along with their Property Documents and your Notice of Assements, Property Docs.

Your sister can get Leave Approval letter from Employer and submit.

Make the duration short, so that the chances of Approval will be more.

The processing time in website is 33 days, is it 33 calendar days or 33 business days?
Is there any way we can find where our application is being processed (Delhi or Bangalore)?

That's good that your application is almost done. I applied July 12 for my parents visitor visa (I am PR) but there is no single update yet.
