Visitors Visa (TRV) Processing time 2016 India

Applied online on 20th June. No update till date. I have quick question will they straight away send passport request would anybody know?

I've applied for super visa on behalf of my parents on July 6th, Application approved and Visa stamped on August 3rd. I got message in MyCIC account to send passport for final step.

Need some help here

My friend is getting married end of October, his spouse is PR of Canada. Before their marriage he is applying for TRV, his cousin from Canada will be sending him Letter of Invitation. He is planning to apply for TRV by end of September. What happens if his Martial Status changes while TRV application is in process?

Can i ask one more question. For TRV how many months of Bank Statement and Salary Slips required? He will be adding letter of invitation, documents showing he owns a house and any FDs if he got.

It's 6 months bank statements (nothing borrowed) + 6 months salary slips + 2 years ITRs etc + FD Interest Certificate + letter from the bank(s) saying the FDs are not mortgaged/not locked in (if it's the case)

Ouch! Now I feel less rightful to be disappointed; my parents applied on the 24th June online from India for visitor visa.

Hey all.. great to let you know that i made my online application on 2nd August... today on 18th August got request to submit passport at New Delhi VAC

may be that is because of CAN+ Programme i heard of.. first time visitor to canada but already visited to US quite a number of times...

Thats a great news. I also applied under can+ category for my parents since they have usa visitor visa and visited usa last year. Applied on Aug 5th.

Applying for visitor visa and the question is related to the signature on the forms to be submitted online.
IMM5257 Application for Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) Made Outside of Canada (IMM5257) (required) -- is it recommended to physically sign and scan the document for uploading and for Family Information IMM5645 for online application do we need to take a print out write the names in native language and sign the same and then scan and upload.

For online i don't think you need to sign. But even if you do sign, they will not refuse. (I didn't sign for my application for any form)

Applied in-laws visitor visa online on 16 July, no updates yet.

Applied parents visitor visa online on 22 July, received passport request on 28 July, submitted on 29 July to Bangalore visa office through VFS Ahmedabad, and received back with stamped visa on 8 Aug. Visa expiry is up to a day before passport expiry date.

What is the processing time for paper-based Visitor visa application from India? I applied last month on July 18th at Hyderabad.. still no updates yet.. Still processing at Bangalore...

Does anyone know how much time will it take to complete process?
