I want to bring my mother and sister on a visit to Canada for a month. My mother is widowed and lives with my sister who is not married. Is it possible to bring both of them together? Can I file one application for both of them? My mother wont travel without my sister as she is greatly dependent on her. Please any advice would be appreciated.

Each family member should fill their application for TRV individually and sign.
You can invite any number of people if you have capacity to provide support to all of them during their visit in Canada.

Dear,

You can easily call them there. There is no issue in that.
You need to fill two applications, one for each.
Furthermore, you need to attach following documents to strongly support your application:

1 - Letter of Invitation from host residing in Canada
2 - Copy of the Medical Insurance Certificate for your mom and sis both for one year with a Canadian Insurance Company(Along with payment confirmation)
3 - Copy of your Birth Certificate(To show your relationship with them)
4 - Copy of your Passport
5 - Copy of the Certificate of your Canadian Citizenship
6 - Copy of your Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
7 - Copy of your Bank Account statement

I hope it will help you.

Thank you both for your kind reply. The only thing I am not clear on is the TRV. There is a multiple entry and a single entry? which one is easier to get? and also someone told me that I can invite my mother and "add" my sister to her application as an additional person. is this true? Thanks again
