Hello Guys,

My organization extended my contract till next year June (June 2025), but my work permit is expiring current year (July 2024).
Will this policy applicable for me?
Note : My Employer told that they cannot provide employer support.

Feedback on this situation is appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Sai Manasa

Your employer still needs to apply for and obtain an approved LMIA.

Thank you for your quick response..
Will it cost anything for employer?

May be this is the reason they are reluctant to support via LMIA, but they said they can provide offer letter and all.

Yes, it will cost them a fee of $1000 and then also additional money for advertising.

The offer letter is not enough for you to get a work permit. You need the approved LMIA.
