Hi everyone,
I need some guidance regarding my Canada tourist visa refusal.
I recently applied for a visitor visa in October 2025, but it was rejected. In the refusal letter, they mentioned that I do not have family ties outside Canada, which is not correct—I do have family in my home country and also I have my own residence in India. I’m confused about how to properly prove this if I reapply.
Also, I noticed that my visa fee was not fully refunded. Is this normal, or should I contact IRCC or my bank/agent regarding the refund?
Could anyone please advise:
Thank you in advance

Could anyone please advise:
- How to strengthen proof of family ties for reapplication?
- Whether I should apply again or file for GCMS notes first?
- Is the visa fee refundable in case of rejection?
Thank you in advance
