STUDY
Hello,

I am a dual citizen of US and canada. i am currently living in US but travel to canada once in a while. I have not put in a spouse sponsorship case here in canada but intend to in the future. She does however have a pending case in US.
My question is, can i get my sister or mother to write her a referral letter to come visit canada for a few months. Will my case in US interfere with her visa process? Her intention isn't to stay here because i dont live here (im in canada maybe 2 months max out of the year).

I would love to hear some suggestions.

Assume she is not visa exempt. It becomes much harder to get a TRV if your spouse is Canadian. You can certainly try. The US is more concerned about you applying to sponsor in both countries. She won’t be able to meet the residency commitments in both countries. You have to prove that you and your spouse will be moving back to Canada for her to get PR.
