Visitor Visa Travel History

We are applying for Visitor Visa for my Spouse. Is is necessary for her to have travel history ? Will showing no travel history impact the decision in any way for her visa ?
Recently there have been many rejections for Visitor visa so wanted to make sure.

It is one factor to show she abides by other countries immigration laws, so yes it can have an impact. If she has a very strong profile then it may or may not be an issue. She will want to show strong ties to home country (job letter with leave, property, family) and funds.

On arrival visa travel will also work ? or we need to go to a country with pre approved visa for travel history ?

Travel history is to the UK, US, NZ or AUS. Getting the visa and travelling there and then returning home.
