Visitor visa through New portal

Hi there
I've applied visitor visa application through New Portal on 7th January 2023. And my friend applied on 18th January 2023. Today he has given a decision which is rejection. But no update in my account although I have applied before him. We both applied from Pakistan. Can someone guide about this?

Each application is handled individually based on the applicants circumstances, so there is no set time frame for processing. Be patient.

Someone told me that the approved decision comes late and rejected decision comes early. Is it true?
