Hello everyone,

My parents visited me in August 2019 on a visitor visa. They were here in Canada for 2 months and travelled back to the US and are planning to return to Canada in January, My question is- can they stay back in Canada for another 6 months after they Arrive here?

Their entry stamp is in August and does this mean they have to leave the country in February?

Thanks in Advance!

The first entry doesn't matter now. It depends on how much time they get at the point of entry, if the officer doesn't put any time limit in the passport they have 6 months if they put a limit then they have to follow that.
This is all assuming they have multiple entry visa that is still valid.

So it is at the discretion of the officer at the point of entry then.

Thank you for the response and yes they do have a valid multiple entry for another few years.
