Hi all my mom received her visit visa for 5 years :), I have a small query.
My mom applied for 3 weeks while applying, now can she booked a ticket for 4 months, will there be any problem as earlier it mentioned as 3 weeks. kindly reply

Yes - she can book a four month ticket. Keep in mind that how long she is actually allowed into Canada will be up to the CBSA officer she speaks to at the border.

Visitor Visa happens in the following ways :
During Port of Entry, Visa Officer stamps the passport and if he :
1. Writes the End Date : Then the person has to leave by that date. Irrespective of the Visa validity.
2. If he doesn't write : Visitor can stay to the maximum of 6 months from the date of arrival.

I feel, they don't write until they suspect something. My dad travelled 6 times and they never wrote the return date.

Have a nice time with your mom...!!!

Visitor visa is stamped in the passport only or do u receive any letter also...?
Plz advise

If the visa is stamped, there will be no letter.

usually i have seen letter comes for rejection points.

Approval case, doesn't come with letter.
